The mission of the Education Ministry of Peace Lutheran Church is to facilitate learning opportunities for all ages, members and non-members, to further grow in faith and knowledge of God's Word through fellowship and appropriate study materials while emphasizing stewardship in the church, our community, and the world.  Learn in faith ... grow in faith ... serve in faith.

Peace Lutheran Church provides opportunities for people of all ages to grow in the faith and relationship with Jesus Christ both on Sunday mornings and in programs throughout the week.  All members and visitors are invited to join a class or discussion group of interest to them.  Sunday classes are held every week throughout the school year except around Christmas, New Year's, and Easter Sunday.

Sunday Morning Education

Sunday School hour is 9:35 - 10:45 am

Nursery is provided for Sunday School teachers, Adult Ed participants, and Choir members

Our PreK-4th grade classes gather for large group opening in the Fellowship Hall and then move to their small group classrooms for lessons following the SPARK curriculum.

Our 5th-6th graders, CLUB 56, gather together for lessons, DVD's, games, servant projects, and large group and small group activities.

GODtime and SONday Servants, our 7th-8th grade and high school classes, meet for discussion, Bible lessons, DVD's, servant projects ... and snacks!

Adult education classes vary throughout the year.  Both our Pastor and Intern lead classes on Sunday mornings that are also offered on Tuesday afternoons and evenings.  See the education pages in the Tidings Newsletters for information on current classes.

Shining Stars is a program held for the incoming fall PreK class.  Events include "Happy Birthday, Jesus!" and "He Lives!" held at Christmas and Easter.  Following the Easter event, the Shining Star students are invited to join the current PreK class for the rest of the school year. 

Family Sunday School Events 

Several times throughout the school year, parents are invited to join their children for special themed events or programs.  Previous events have included Rally Day, "Go Green for God," "Prepare Ye" Advent Event, "Team Jesus" - SouperBowl Event, and the "Wondrous Cross" Lent/Easter Event.
